ReplyDeleteI read your questions, and have compared them to the recent article ran by the Patch. You speak in terms of what you will do, but not what you have done. When I hire people, I don't want them to brag what they can do for my company, I want to see physical proof of what they have already done.
I see your up against some strong candidates that have "done" and no braggeed, as the residents KNOW what they will do. They know Bob will oppose anything with budgets that are not a necessity. They know Rhonda will show the numbers to the residents and vote for reductions. You only state what you will do because you have not been playing in the game... only sitting on the sidelines watching the game.
I give you credit to run, but maybe in two years you will have a track record so you can hang with the big dogs. In the meanwhile, there are many organizations in Bolingbrook that can give you a lift into the world of numbers, votes, solutions, etc for your next campaign. Maybe you should be less critical of them before the next election as you were this time around. These same organizations you slashed multiple times have done much more homework then you did.
Two years from now you can join the game and play with the big dogs, until then, do your homework and contribute ideas for the budget crisis.

At least Mr. Williams attends the BOE meetings and has an idea of what is going on.
